As some of you may know, I took a trip to NYC this past weekend. When I go on a trip, I like to share some of my photos. So here they are!
On the first night, we got to go see the musical Wicked on broadway.
We also went to Ellis Island and Liberty Island where we got to see the Statue of Liberty.
Here's pictures of me with some of my friends in front of the Statue of Liberty. I'm the one in bright green.
Here is the sign in front of Ellis Island.
This is the room in Ellis Island where immigrants got registered and inspected by an official in order to make it into the United States.
Here is a picture that i took on top of the Empire State Building. Pretty amazing up top.
We also got to visit the 9/11 Memorial.
Here is the picture of the North Pool.
Here is a picture of the statue that was between the North and South tower. Despite of the damage, it is still in tact, which is pretty amazing.
Along with the 9/11 Memorial, we went to St. Paul's Chapel. St. Paul's Chapel is the church that the Firefighters, Policemen, Medical Personnel, and any other responders to the 9/11 attacks went to mass a few days after the towers fell. The alter below have notes written in memory to loved ones that were lost. There we 3 different alters with these notes. Heartbreaking to look at some of them.
Here is a picture of the Freedom Tower that replaced the North Tower.
We also got to take a tour of Radio Music Hall... home of the Rockets!
Here is a picture of one of the main stairwells to get to the performance hall.
Here is where the actual performance happens. Pretty cool!
We went to Ellen's Stardust Diner where the waiters and waitresses sing to you while they serve you food. It was cool. Here is a picture of me and some of my friends sitting at a table. Im the one in the hat.
Finally, my favorite part of New York City..... Times Square!!!
It was an amazing trip and I was soo excited to go. I love New York, but its not a place that i would want to live.... too many people!
