Hacking Accusations @ MFF, again.
« on: September 01, 2011, 07:13:27 pm »
I feel like we just went through this (by we, I mean Ocarina, an MFFjr member and SCS_tom19303)....

Just having a good time in the MFF server this afternoon, obeying the server rules and generally being a great guy to play with, and then Cookie goes through console and accuses me of hacking. (See below)

I see it on console and see members saying it all the time "If you have a problem with somebody, talk to an MFF member in spec" or something to that effect. Since Cookie is an MFF member, it's okay to accuse me of hacking ?

I've played since the demo, the only custom or additional files on my PC are the AREA51 map pack and a red dot sight (not a scope mod, just the white crosshair). I've never cheated, and I'm a member of an upstanding clan with a reputation for clean play for over 6 years.

I treat you guys with respect, and I would think it's not too much to ask to expect the same. I don't know. Moh:AA is a dwindling community of players, and those of us that are clean shouldn't be chasing each other out of servers with silly accusations. The funny thing is Cookie probably kills me at a ratio of somewhere around 10/1, and I get accused. Lol.

Get at me, let me know what you guys think.

I have no problem with your play dies as i have watched you countless times in our server and other servers. You are a very good player. I am an R-con holder for SCS and watch everyones play that comes into our server and other servers. I hope this can be resolved.

The only problem I have with you dieseasy is that you should be prosecuted under the trades descriptions act, because you do not die easy!

Get your facts right before coming in here and have diarrhea of the mouth. I have on my rcon that the console says " I'm Happy So Plz Turn Off Any Help So I Can Stay Happy!". It doesn't accuse any one individual, I didn't say anything to you other than put that up with my rcon, it could have been toward anybody but you didn't hestitate and told me to SS you. I told ya I didn't need to do that. So next time you have a problem talk to me, I'm not hard to find. SCS_Tom  there's nothing to be resolved, some folks just need to present the facts like they happened and if they did this would never have been posted, period. All anyone has to do is check the chat log.

PS- Leaving early in the morning and want be back till Monday dieseasy, so you want think I'm hiding or anything.

If I kill you, and you say "hax", who else would you be talking to? Do I need to screenshot the entire round before it's clear what's being said? Own up to what you said, whatever MFF's decision may be. You say you aren't accusing any one individual, so tell me (pls) who is it you were accusing?

I don't want to be rude Cookie, but I do want to present the situation as it is, not as you would like it to seem.  ???

Tell Papa to get chat log from around 5:15 pm CST Thursday . I never said anyrthing about hax. I will be expecting a apology when he gets the chat log when I get back!!!!!!!! Only put up on my rcon that the console says  " I'm Happy So Plz Turn Off Any Help So I Can Stay Happy!". It doesn't accuse any one individual. Down here in the south we have a saying "a guilty dog always barks first", with that, why did you think that console message was for you? You wasted no time saying SS me. Never and I mean never did I point you out individually. Now I have a plane to catch.

A few years ago Cookie and I were in opposite positions and when I was in his position he backed me up so I am going to reciprocate!  There is no way on this green earth that Cookie put the combination of key strokes “HAX” in game chat!!  7 years ago there was a rule created probably before we had clan rules, that stated there will be no public accusation by clan members or guest and Cookie enforces that rule to the maximum as well as all admin.  Sometimes we may have a recruit or a junior that does not know all of the rules that may type something like that and when we find out we don’t send Papa after them, we send Cookie or TnT whereby they will understand the rule very quickly!!!

I can understand that it is frustrating to be accused whenever you join a server and that it can get old, however, if you know you are clean, then why put this up here?  Do you have a post like this in every clan forum where you get accused?  We are not hacker hunters, we want to play the game and when it is noticed that someone maybe using download aids the admin will make a statement to ALL to turn them off.  We try our best to keep the server clean, but as you said MOHAA is a dwindling community so we are cautious not to kick skilled players as yourself.

If you know you are clean then go play in the server and have a good time and don’t take any of our announcements personal!!  But if you are not clean, turn them off in our server or suffer the consequences.  As far as this accusation of Cookies accusation goes, it is a moot subject now!!!

Maybe we need a new rule about accusing people of accusing!

"Please do not make public accusations about public accusations, speak to a member of MFF, preferrably Cookie as he is on holiday.....beep!"

needs more technical perimeters.

As I stated when I posted this, I've been accused by MFF in the past (still quite recently actually), so for me it seems like "here we go again". That's why I wasted no time in telling you to screenshot me. As I've already posted the chat picture, and I thought it was self-explanatory; I kill you - you say wow - then you go to console and say to turn off help. It doesn't take a literary scholar to follow that chain of events.  :-*

@Target: no I do not post in forums for every server that I get accused in, although it wouldn't take long since I don't get accused often. In fact the only two times that come to mind are both involving this clan. I'm not here to whine or complain. The reason I posted on here, is so I can have my say, and hopefully put everyone on notice that I am, and always have been, clean. I also posted here because I really enjoy playing on your server, and I want to make it clear that I'm abiding the server rules. I respect any actions that would be taken against me, it is YOUR server and as you guys pay for it, you are entitled to run the server any way you like.

I have no problems with Cookie or any other members of MFF. 9 out of 10 times I play on your server and have a great time, if I'm getting frustrated (as often happens since there are many skilled regulars, both MFF and pubs, that own me) I will usually just say GG and disconnect.

If it is a "moot subject" then so be it. I have no problem carrying on playing as if nothing happened. I am an adult (as I suspect many of you are) and I play games for enjoyment and relaxation, not for drama. I thought posting about this in your forums, rather than just complaining in the server, would've been a mature and acceptable way to resolve the issue. I don't know what upset Cookie so much; but I meant no personal offense and I hope you enjoy your vacation.  ;D

well, let me say that I played with the SCS clan all the way back to my days with the 1stSSF and I don't believe any of them hack I have known most of them too long.

BUT,  I also know cookie pretty well and he would NEVER say Hax on screen chat, NEVER. If that was said then it was not the real cookie.

I thought it was the best thing to say after Schmott's post:

I respect the whole conversation and the maturity of which its being carried out

Seemed like it needed someone to completely lower the tone!
