Hi iam here to talk about the language on the server and how uptight some mff members are . I think we should be allowed to say gtfo and other acronyms .. these arent actual bad words these are letters and i dont think its a big deal ... if you no why please tell me and dont put some bs about family server . FFS they are letters and if you know what they stand for good for u ... thats why they were created to not say the full word ? So if iam not allowed to say acronyms then there was no point in the people who made them and you guys are way uptight about it ? like comon please tell mff's to not rage on people who use acronyms i understand if its like " zomg u fkin noob gtfo or i kill u now " but saying something like ffs.. when you die or something is NOT  wronge...

P.S. i played since like 2-3 years ago and took a long break from video games ... so I was playing before since most of you were members and ill tell you that the mff's back then were way better

P.S P.S Every other game i played ALLOWS acronyms .. Even Runescape allow acronyms and most of its players are 7-15 years old....

i was just telling you to leave the f word teccho, and me uptight i don't like to get in duscissions but like you reacted on my thing was not good either. i call it disrespectful against a MFF member for someone that just wan't to keep it friendly and nice in the server.
if i am not right about it that that is not family friendly and teccho is right then i will leave the clan and i probably broke the rules for being friendly and just telling it. i try to make it fun for everyone in the server and some like it and some don't like it to get in a discussion about those things but rules are rules and the F word isn't allowed. this is my opinion about it.

Family friendly is exactly the reason and what makes you think that posting a little rant like that is going to get anyone here on your side.

Every other game that you play that allows acronyms (actually they are initialisms, acronyms technically are abbreviations that make a pronounceable word) obviously isn't mediated, paid for and administered by us.

We will run our servers how we see fit and you are welcome take your opinions and play somewhere else.

If I were to talk about your mother in a very disrespectful way, would it be ok if I used initialisms?

P.S. This could actually have opened up a reasonable and productive debate if brought to us in a respectable and pensive manner, rather than the confrontational, foul mouthed display that will get you banned from our servers.

Runescape is also a family friendly game ? Also if they cant handle me saying " gtfo stop spawn killing noob " and they run away and lock them selfs in a closet then thats sad becuase there playing a fps game... and i think if there playing fps game they can handle an acranym.

shortening the word by using an acronym or initialisms does not change the disrespect associated with the comment.

If someone is hacking and/or spawn killing MFF members are ALWAYS willing to discuss the issue in spectator mode.

This is one of the best servers for mohaa around because they do enforce their rules very strictly.

The server is family friendly. It was made to be family friendly. What this means to us, and therefore to you and the rest of our members, is that we take extreme pride in preventing the use of foul language, so everyone, young and old, can enjoy a server without sentences like what you have so bluntly demonstrated above being thrown about like its a World War 2 Allied landing boat at Normandy.

Like the Guy to the right said, we have a popular server because we have rules, and we stick to them. Our members, and our guests are treated as equals, and all are expected to know and understand all of our rules, including the language restrictions.

There are tons of other servers, and although we would rather have you play with us, on our server, you are more than welcome to play on another server where there are no language restrictions.

Our members and our guests are all encouraged to ask each other, when necessary, to please refrain from using profanity, or abbreviations which could be considered profane. Abbreviations are just as bad, because they invoke the same feelings the actual words do, when people understand what the abbreviation is for. And with the Internets' popularity, and kids texting like phones wont exist in an hour, almost everyone knows what you mean when you use any kind of abbreviation or initials of profane words.

The age of the children or of the adults is a moot issue. I'm an adult, and I absolutely LOVE the fact that MFF keeps its servers clean from profanity, I hear it all day, I see it everywhere, I like having a place to play online where I can finally get away from it. Profanity shows ignorance, and disregard for other's feelings. It hurts people more than simpler calmer words, and that hurt ultimately translates into more intensive verbal abuse between people, or an empty server. Neither case do I wish to witness. Nothing is worse than finding a great server with a decent ping, only to log on to it and see two people showing their e-Toughness to each other by how many profane words than can type a second, filling up the chat box, so nobody else can even concentrate on the game. When I used to go server-hopping, I would immediately leave servers like this - which is why I eventually ended up on MFF's, because their (our) is/was none of that.

Please do not get me wrong, profanity has a time and place, but MFF's server's are neither. If you sincerely feel the need to use profane language, then do so in your own home, at your computer, but there is no reason to type it into the server. I consider any substition of profane language abbreviated letters to be profane, since they can still easily be understood. You may use the words "darn it, silly goose, stinker, crazy face" or the like in substitution of the letters you really wish to use.

I would encourage you to read the letter from our founder on our main page so you can better understand where MFF, and myself, are coming from.

But our rules apply in our forums as well, and It would be appreciated if you refrain from using further acronyms, or I will be locking the topic.

Thank you for your input, it will be treasured, but we will not be changing our family friendly rules anytime soon.

ok enough with this topic, the rules have been here for the six years that the server has been here. if you don't like it  go  play somewhere else. if i see you type it in there i will simply ban you and not argue with you. enough said.
