How to get a better ping and a better fps =)

com_maxfps 200   ( this depends on your videocard capacity)

cl_maxpackets 15

cl_timenudge -30

One that is so usefull but its for sound its cinematic

eh.. what's the default setting for the 2 last ? it doesn't help me used to have 300-500 fps

it depends on your video card, dont know what happen to you, when i try it it get higher to me like 100 to 300 so dont know =)

so long as your min is over 60 you should not see a change in fps however...

setting super high fps when your gpu (graphics processing unit) cannot handle it will only create more jerkiness from the sudden drops in fps...

I cap mine at 135 regardless of the game... I did it in mohaa... and in cod4...

Another thing I just learned about in the server this week is snaps (just type snaps in console).  From what I heard it should be set to 20 - which mine was and it is default.  I'm not sure what this is or how it affects ping but someone helped someone else (thanks crappy short-term memory) out because theirs was set to 16 and it was causing them lag.  Once they changed it, they said it was much better.  Now, what did I have for lunch again?...
