Recent applicant worries.

good evening MFF and Friends,

Given the name of this thread, let me start with an introduction.

My name is Luke, and I go by the game name Wendle, or WendleDrinks. I am 32 and from Philadelphia Pennsylvania. My Mohaa background is with the [DRGN] clan for whom I was a server admin for four years.

That being said I have some worries, as a former Admin I am quite versed in spotting a cheater. While that is subjet to relevence, please let me continue. I have played in your server for the last three moths or so, and here is what I have noticed.

From my accounts with MFF members via TS and in the server, you seem to have a good bunch of folks, as satated in my application, what worries me is the amount of (let's say) undesirable individuals that frequent your server. For the most part it seems that noone (the admins) can do anything about. I am not into calling names or laying blame as I have always had the ability to deal with these individuals, but my concerne for joining this clan has grown.

As you are a multi-game clan, my experience is only driven from the mohaa division, I also do not mean to cast dispursions or hatefu rhetoric on your clan. I simply mean to get to the business of what is going on, so I may make an informed decision.

I must say it has been a pleasure playing with you the past few months; you bring a certain character to the server when you join and that is in deed what we are looking for.  Someone who enjoys playing the game and having a good time, abides my the rules and adds good humor while playing!!!  We appreciate your comments and agree whole heartedly, however we are in the process of a long transition to a new cleaning process so to speak, and I can tell you right now that all of our admin are weary from dealing with all of the perps that join our server, myself included.

We have a ban list a mile long, however if we were to consolidate the list of perps who have changed their IP, changed their name and then rejoin the server, we may be able to narrow that down to an eighth of a mile.  We stand behind our admin, we coach them and we have a very strong rule that we do not kick skilled players, so they take videos, they talk with each other and until they are absolutely sure, the player plays.

We are giving it our best shot to keep things as clean as possible Wendle and we do appreciate you coming and playing with us and look forward to playing with you even more in the future.  I am sure someone will be dealing with your app soon and I hope you do decide to join up!!!

 I think when we play freeze tag only maps cheaters are easy to spot but when we go to
demo or koth its a little more difficult with the intensity of action. with the changing of ip's and names it makes it even more difficult to keep up with. I think our admins do a great job
when they see something fishy or when x-fired to come into game for policing.  I hope you decide to join MFF because its enjoyable playing with you.

First I thank you for the kind words, (except tuna...just kidding your good on toast )

Having read the comments posted, perhaps I did not properly convey what I meant. I do believe the admins of MFF work hard and do thier respective jobs, it is just that I am used to a much higher level of control, then it would seem the admins of MFF have. For example, the taking of video's, the application's to have an ip banned..I am not used to these things. At first to me it seemed like a lack of trust between senior leadership, and the admins. Having spent more time in the server, I see now that it is simply the MFF process. I believe in open communication, even in something as trivial as the running of a game server, and with that said, I believe there is room for improvement, in the administrative aspect, however, that is not to say that anyone is not doing thier current job as intended.

I have made my mind up, and have decided, simply based on the character of the people I have dealt with that MFF would be a good home for me, barring that this post has in some way aggrivated any senior leadership. I am simply waiting to hear from a recruitment officer
