MFF posts this on our download. We do not condone illegal downloading of any software, but assuming you have a legal copy, I see no reason to not use a modified EXE or other no CD fix.

There was no ill intent on his part. We were all discussing the game this morning, and some of them coudln't believe that Silent and I still used our CD's. It was requested that he show us how. I guess its all our fault that were in there this morning. Our bad.

This is from DMW not sure you guys heard of this wonderful anti-cheat, but hard to make public use but not members.  Illegal are you kidding me....lol !!!  I would never, involve my self in any cheat of any kind. I do not force models to make everyone white cupcake like MOST do, because I feel that to be wrong. Cheats sicken me!!!!

My game play will not change from public server to any scrim server running DMW I just play well not using anything. No scope, no sights, no nothing. I do have ur skins so I dont have to see bent barrels.

I don't believe that there was any accusation of cheating, BrainDead.

Morte had some concerns about the discussion of using a cracked EXE file for MoHAA. While we can't condone discussion of cracking software, especially bypassing security settings for the game, the file in question was made outside of MFF and as long as used with a legal copy of the game, I see no reason to prohibit its use.

I don't use a fixed EXE because of too much trouble doing updates for other games with one, but there are other no disc options.

I have not used a MOHAA disc in over 3 years. I own 2 legal copies and one is badly scratched, that is why I always use the nocd crack.

A patch like this will not in anyway change game. Will not give your super vision, or better aim that is still up to you. It will just get you loaded without a disk. I have used this same patch since DMW approve it long, long time ago. I try to only use things DMW approved that way I know all is the way it should be.

Was trying to help out some folks, but I can just play. Anyone wanting help with anything mohaa related, except cheats xfire me.

I haven't been bothered by this at all if you don't want help so be it. Like I said anyone needing help xfire me, and I will do what I can for you.  I will help public, members, and other clans just xfire me. In my career in mohaa I have helped 3 different clans get started while I was in another.   2 out of 3 clans are still going strong and for several years now.

Greetings Reader,

      After sitting aside after I had made my post, looking to the opinions of others on this subject. I have seen it fit to make this response. At no point in time were any moral standings in question. It was, within the limited information given in the original post, that the intent was to allow persons with and without the MOHAA CD's (bought legaly) to be able to use the game illegally. As posted by Vellusian, It was within my understanding the the intent was to bypass security features of a game. I am however aware that there are those with legal copies of the game in question that due to the condition of the CD require other means to play it. The assistance of clanmates, friends and or family are greatly welcomed and appreciated on my part.

Thank you for your time, and I hope this clears up communications,

This is not a copy of mohaa this is a patch to allow connection without a disk. It does nothing to game, nor is it an illegal copy of anything. This is a "PATCH" just like the one you need to play online, and is that consider a cheat or illegal. You still need a copy of the game for this to work. It just overwrites what is needed to join game without disk nothing more.
