How to Eat a Watermelon. Seriously?

My friends shared this video with me, and we had a great laugh...

I'll freely admit I never knew how to eat a watermelon properly before today. I always just bit into it and let the juices flow, spit the seeds out onto the wall and eat on. Mess? What mess! Worry about the cleanup later.

This spoon method is new to me, but it seems much better than the fork method. There is a "Fork Cartel" method?! Okay. Not sure about the compass directions and the tunnelling either... And I don't quite know what to make of the marshmallows and peanut butter... I enjoy them but... <gulp> Sorry I've already said too much, I didn't mean to spoil the video.

Whenever I end up retiring and have this much time on my hands like this guy, please shoot me first. Please.

But using a spoon to eat a watermelon, that's way cool. No one I know has ever done that! Except he's a little OCD about it, but I'll take that away from this video as learning something new.

now thats funny My grandfather was a watermelon and peanut farmer black diamond water melons are the best I love a black diamond orange meat watermelon .  We have done the spit he seeds and the give everyone of the kids a spoon and dig in kind of thing but I usually take a large bowl and a ice cream scoop and scoop it out to store it and then we eat on it all week , I also have a few recipes I use watermelon in one is a salsa basically swap the tomatoes for water melon make sure you add a pepper an onion and cilantro  also throw some in a large skillet when fixing steak and grill it makes a nice sweet sauce

you need to try it ck its a great dish  with chicken


    3 cups finely diced seedless{ or just take the seeds out}  watermelon, (about 2 1/4 pounds)
    2 jalapeno peppers, minced
    1/3 cup chopped cilantro, (about 1/2 bunch)
    1/4 cup lime juice
    1/4 cup minced red onion, (about 1/2 small)
    1/4 teaspoon salt, or to taste
