First of all, there is an excellent guide, made by vellusion, on most of the setup options of TS3
-={Here}=-What vellusions did not cover however, is how to change the teamspeak voice from the dull boring Microsoft Sam, to a more pleasant voice.
First of all, this is a Text to Speech plugin that reduces the long drawn out sentences.
-={Minimalist Text to Speech}=-The tutorial by Vellusion will show you have to activate it. It will appear beneath Default Text to Speech, all you gotta do is select it.
Right, now. Changing the voice is way easier, but it does NOT require you to do anything in Teamspeak.
Instead, you need to change your computer settings; but don't fret, it's easy.
First, go into control panel.
If you do not know how, follow these simple steps. The easiest way for me to guide you, is to simply use run.
XP users, press the Windows Logo + R, or goto Start - Run.
Windows 7 / Vista users, just type Run into the search bar and click Run.
Type in
Control Panel and hit enter.
Next, click on speech.
Those using simple view will need to click Sounds, Speech and Audio Devices first.
Right. Almost done.
Click on Text to Speech.
And lastly, pick a voice.
Simple. Just click apply and it's done. The voice in Teamspeak is now changed.
If you're curious about some new voices, you can test the one I use (VW Kate)
-={Here}=-Contact me through Xfire, if you wish to learn how to get VW Kate for yourself.
That is all.
