Istra is penisula very close to Italy and since we are separate lot of mores expand and old stayed.And lot of them are ok,of course for kids
 first is Sveti Nikola (saint Nicholas) ,protector of  sailors,travelers,fishermans,bekerys,childrens,girls,students but also of prisonesrs.We slebrate him on 06.12 on coast mostly.Usual with him is Krampus.Kids that day can get sweets or branch of willow.Here is picture from school as also schools, or towns can organize his selebaration :

then is Djeda Mraz -it is rest of exYugoslavia,and it come in New Year night :

and last is Befana,she come form Italy and shi is a witch,data is 05/06.01 night,and she bring  gifts,sweets or coal :
