Im not from Vancouver but have been there before....If your gonna visit the area Yogi, check out Stanley Park and take the Ferry to Vancouver Island (lovely botanical gardens). They have Orca whale watching tours also. British Columbia is a beautiful province with nice people. The rockies are worth driving into as well, stunningly majestic with hot springs and ice glaciers.

The Aquarium is good, as well as the science museum. The list goes on.
